MILO Activ-Go™ is made from a unique malt extract, milk and cocoa and is enriched with proteins and a special blend of vitamins and minerals. Drinking MILO as part of a healthy breakfast, provides all the essential nutrients that help prepare you and your family to get the most out of your day.

To prepare: Pour MILO 20g sachet or Scoop 4 teaspoons of MILO into a cup/mug, add hot water and stir briskly to dissolve the powder. Add 2 or more teaspoons of IDEAL or CARNATION milk, stir well and enjoy as breakfast. To take milo as an afternoon snack, replace hot water with cold water, add some ice cubes and enjoy your chilled cup of Milo.

Milo impact in CWAR

Since the 1990’s Nestlé Milo has invested consistently in Sports Development Programs across the country in collaboration with the Ghana Education Services, with support from the Ministry of Education.

Through its grassroots (colt’s) soccer involvement MILO has helped unearth talent(s) for the Black Stars. Players like Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Laryea Kingston, John Mensah, Mageed Waris to mention a few, are all products of Milo’s grassroots soccer.

In 2010 the brand moved a step further with creation of the MILO® U-13 African Championship (MAC). The maiden edition of the MAC was held in South Africa in the year 2010, the second edition was hosted by Ghana in2012 and in2014, the third edition was held in Lagos Nigeria where Nigeria came out tops.

However, as the MAC happened bi-annually, in order not to lose consumer awareness in the year the event does not happen, the brand came up with an event dubbed MILO® U-13 Champions League (MCL) to engage our core consumers across the country. MCL was therefore born in 2015.

The MCL, is a soccer tournament for school children aged between 7 -13 years.

The objective is to encourage children to participate in sports, stressing its importance as part of a rounded education.

Approximately 10,000 school children aged between 7 -13years participated in the 2016 edition of the MCL
